The residence is near Cape Sounio – one of the most famous sites on the Athens Riviera.
Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon is perhaps the most popular historical site on the Athenian riviera.
In the old times Cape Sounion (the southernmost part of the Attika peninsula) was a significant strategic point. It was a fortified settlement, where the city-state of Athens controlled the sea passage to the Aegean Sea.
Just 10-minutes drive and you can visit Cape Sounion with the Temple of Poseidon (built around 444–440 BC) – one of the major monuments from the Golden Age of Athens.
You can walk down the path to the beach, which also has a beach bar. There is also a taverna 1′ up the hill from the villa.
For everything else you will need a car.

The residence is set near the picturesque seaside town of Anavyssos, where you can find traditional fish tavernas, nice coffees and bars and you can do your everyday shopping.
